FAQ

Fair questions, straight answers.

The things buyers, lawyers, and skeptical RevOps leaders actually ask us.

What is GTM Signals?

Real-time sales intelligence from public earnings calls. Your target companies tell the whole market their plans every quarter. We capture the webcast, score it for seller-relevant signals, verify every quote against the recording, and deliver the why-now with the audio clip attached.

It reaches your team through a feed, a REST API, a hosted MCP for agents, and Clay. It is a signal source, not another dashboard.

How is this different from ZoomInfo, 6sense, or Bombora?

Those are third-party: contact databases and probabilistic intent inferred from anonymous web behavior. Useful, but they guess.

GTM Signals is first-party and verifiable. A named executive said the thing, on the record, on a dated call, and the clip is attached so you can hear it. ZoomInfo tells you who to call. Intent tells you who might be warm. We tell you what a decision-maker actually committed to, in their own words, and why this quarter is the buy window. We sit beside those tools in the same Clay waterfall; we do not replace them.

Is this legal?

Yes. Earnings calls are public and companies publish the audio. We capture the public webcast and score it, the same material any analyst or journalist works from.

We never store anyone's contact data. You bring your own enrichment (ZoomInfo, Apollo, or whatever you already license). What we ship is derived: one verbatim quote sentence, a why-now, a score, and our own audio clip. Never the raw transcript. See Compliance for the full posture.

How accurate is it? What stops the model from making quotes up?

A hard gate. Every candidate quote is matched back against the actual call recording. A quote the system cannot find in the audio is dropped, along with its signal. Nothing unverified reaches your feed, your API, or your agent.

You do not have to trust that claim either: every signal on this site carries a play button. The clip is the receipt.

What do you cover?

The full US earnings universe: 42,000+ tracked earnings events, captured live, including registration-walled webcasts. On live calls, a statement becomes a scored signal in minutes.

A public sample of the output is open right now at /data/feed.json and /data/signals/{TICKER}.json for CSCO, MTD, BDX, PAYX, and DE. Details on the Data page.

API or MCP, which should I use?

Same data, same key, different consumer. Use the REST API when a system makes the call: a Clay HTTP API column, a CRM workflow, a script. Use the MCP when an agent makes the call: point Claude or any agent-native GTM tool at mcp.gtmsignals.co and it gets tools like account_brief and get_earnings_signal.

Both are described end to end in the docs.

Do you sell contact data?

No, and we never will. No emails, no phone numbers, no scraped profiles. Names appear only as public call speakers. You pair our signal with the enrichment you already license; that keeps your data posture clean and ours cleaner.

How does billing work?

Flat monthly tiers: Free, $49 Pro, $199 Team, $997 Desk. Each tier has a rate limit sized for it. There is no per-credit metering, so an agent sweeping your whole account list costs the same as a quiet month. Full comparison on the pricing page.

Can a company or speaker be removed?

Yes. If an issuer or a speaker asks us to remove a clip or signal, we take it out of the feed, the API, and the MCP. The compliance page covers the opt-out posture.
